Good Afternoon Friends and Family!!! I have not been neglecting you, just have not cooked anything elaborate or unusual lately. I have been busy, and the surprise Birthday Party was a success. Unfortunately, I did not get pictures of the vegetable, fruit, cheese, crackers, and cookie trays I made up, which were so easy - lol.

Well, today, my husband asked for something - unusal to me - for lunch today.  He wanted Waffles with Peanut Butter and Syrup.  So here goes....

Waffles with Peanut Butter and Pancake Syrup

4 frozen waffles toasted in toaster
Margarine or butter smeared on toasted waffles
Peanut Butter - chunky or creamy, your choice - smear on top of butter
Pancake Syrup - poured over top

So how easy is that - now - here is what it looked like!!!

Close up - looks yummy!!!
Ok, I didn't have any, was afraid my diabetis wouldn't appreciate it!! Besides, I needed to sample just one of the next items I made.

Ok, I have not made my hubby any cookies lately, and so I had some cheats in the cupboard.  So here is what I made him...

Cheaters Sugar Cookies

Mix as directed on package.  I made them a little larger with using my cookie scoop, but ooooh, were they ever good!!!  And yes, I can eat just one!!!
 Ingredients needed.
 Ready for oven!!
 Close up of scooped cookie.
 Fresh out of the oven.
Let sit on pan for about 5 minutes so they will continue to cook.
Nice and soft and chewy!!!  Delicious!!
